A Mother’s Love

One afternoon, a couple was traveling on by car when at a far distance they saw a woman in the middle of the road, waving frantically.

The wife told her husband to keep on driving because it might be too dangerous, but the husband decided to pass by slowly so he wouldn’t stay with the doubt on his mind of what might have happened and the chances of anyone being hurt. As they got closer, they noticed a woman with cuts and bruises on her face as well as on her arms. They then decide to stop and see if they could be of any help.

The cut and bruised woman was begging for help telling them that she had been in a car accident and that her husband and son, a new born baby, were still inside the car which was in a deep ditch. She told them that the husband was already dead but that her baby seemed to still be alive.

The husband that was traveling decided to get down and try to rescue the baby and he asked the hurt woman to stay with his wife inside the their car. When he got down he noticed two people in the front seats of the car but he didn’t pay any importance to it and took out the baby quickly and got up to take the baby to it’s mother. When he got up, he didn’t see the mother anywhere so he asked his wife where she had gone. She told him that the woman followed him back to the crashed car.

When the husband went back to look for her, he noticed that clearly the couple in the front seats were dead, one of whom was unmistakably the woman who had flagged them down.

Not very creepy…I expected a shocking twist but there wasn’t one.

Umm…I read this in a book. This is copied, unless you’re the author.

@ sociopath14, if you’ll look carefully at the page, you’ll see at the top that it was submitted by “Creepypasta Indexer”, and at the bottom of the piece is written “Original author: Unknown”.

So maybe you could help out the admins and let them know which book you read it in, and maybe the author of the piece, instead of the accusatory comment you post on nearly every one of the “Unknown” pieces. It isn’t like they are taking credit for having written the story.

I liked this one. Very short and to the point, with a twist ending. However, it did not offer anything new or unique, but described the stereotypical pasta with a twist. I expected more from this.

At first when I read this I didn’t exactly understand, but after I read it twice I understood. Personally I think this story is a good 7/10 because it wasn’t that creepy at all but some what heart warming. Also did anyone notice this? Where’s the son in the car accident because they only mention him once…

  • Commented on November 20, 2014 at 3:43 am

Comedyandtragedy the son is the baby

  • Commented on April 7, 2015 at 7:19 pm

The love of a mother concludes, even in death… Very good, I especially like how there is a deeper meaning. Hence the title. ^-^

A bit confusing at first, but a very ominous ending! 8/10!

I give this a solid 4/5 because it’s really good. The fact is that I love stories like this even though it’s not creepy. I like both creepy and sweet stories this was very sweet c:

I’ve read this before and I have to say as sweet as it is, it isn’t that creepy. It’s good but it’s not that scary!

  • Commented on June 1, 2015 at 3:26 am

  • Commented on June 3, 2015 at 5:11 pm

I expected a creepy twist but didn’t get one. it was very heartwarming and for that I give it a 8/10. p.s. the couple that was traveling took the baby boy.

Not creepy but I love the idea that the mother’s need to protect the child carried on after death! 4/5

  • Commented on September 10, 2015 at 2:22 am

    Cool. 4/5!! 🙂

  • Commented on September 28, 2015 at 8:28 pm

I LOVED IT 5/5 so good

  • Commented on October 2, 2015 at 4:29 pm

7/10 sounds true but if it’s made up it’s poorly written.

  • Commented on October 5, 2015 at 2:03 am

It’s not horrible, however I’ve heard stories like this before. Although sweet, I wish it had been just a bit more drawn out. It seemed a bit rushed. And no pasta is good rushed. Small servings are fine, but not rushed.

  • Commented on October 10, 2015 at 9:21 am

believe it or not this has happened to me its weird and its a really weird feeling

  • Commented on October 18, 2015 at 9:06 pm

Wow! That was great! It wasn’t very creepy, but very suspenseful and I loved it!

  • Commented on October 25, 2015 at 11:35 pm

Although not necessarily scary, I do find myself highly rating sappy pastas like this. Keep up the good work.

Very sweet how a mother’s love for her child carries her on after death! Reminds me of Harry Potter and I love the book series/movie series. 10/10 for sure. I can’t help but notice the other son s mentioned only once and is never in the car. Also people are saying this is unoriginal, I can see that but do you need to say it? Cause we get it.

My mother used to tell me a story like this when I was a child. To this day, the idea of her doing something like that makes me tear up. While it was well written, this story is old; her mother had told it to her as well.

  • Commented on October 15, 2016 at 6:33 am

The story was typical and the ending was expected..

  • Commented on October 17, 2016 at 7:22 pm

That’s what you call true mother’s love. I guess I’ll spend the night with my ice-cream tub. That was so sweet but sad…

  • Commented on November 3, 2016 at 12:09 am

You know when you’ve read too many creepy pastas for too many hours at once when you see a ghost truly love her child, and almost cry.

  • Commented on December 2, 2016 at 10:38 pm

    Not that bad. 🙂

  • Commented on December 21, 2016 at 12:22 pm

  • Commented on August 16, 2019 at 4:57 pm

Call me crazy, but I absolutely believe in events like this. A mother stopping at nothing in order to protect her child, even from beyond the grave is so amazing.
